The dog friendly hotel in Miramichi.

Only a dog (no cat or other animal) is allowed to stay in one of our designated dog-friendly rooms.
We have designated dog-friendly rooms in smoking and non-smoking.
However the number of our dog friendly hotel rooms is limited.

No exotic species, no birds, no reptiles are allowed to be in our hotel or hotel rooms!


Our Dog-policies & Pet travel guidelines:


  • A dog has to be registered at check-in at all times.

  • A dog must be approved by the General Manager at check in.

  • Up to 2 dogs allowed per room at managers discretion.

  • Your dog is not allowed to stay (left alone) in room unattended. Unless written permission is received from the General Manager.

  • Dog to be kept quiet in order to not disturb other guests. If a disturbance is caused by your dog that effects the comfort of other guests, you will be expected to compensate the hotel for their potential loss of revenue.

  • Dog can be on floor only, dog cannot be on/in the bed or on sofa/furniture.

  • Your dog is only permitted to eat on a non-porous, tiled surface such as the bathhroom floor.

  • Ask for cleaning cloths if your dog is wet or dirty to dry and clean your dog.

  • Your dog must be kept on leash at all times in the public areas inside as well as around the exterior of the hotel for liability reasons.

  • A dog in not permitted in the whirlpool building.

  • It is not allowed that a dog will be bathed in the hotel room or in your bathroom. This will cause damage to the hotel plumbing: guest will be fully responsible for all the damages.

  • Dog owners are fully responsible for any damages to premises made by their dog. Any damages to the room caused by your dog will be added to your credit card per these terms as well as our damage waiver as signed at time of check-in.

  • Should your dog have any accidents on the premises, it is your responsibility to clean-up after them. Should you require a plastic bag, please ask Front Desk.

  • Please arrange a convenient time with Front Desk when you will be out of your room with your dog so that our housekeeping team can service your room. Your dog must be removed from your room prior to housekeeping service entering, or other arrangements must be made with hotel management.

  • Hotel shall not be held responsible for any illness, loss or damage, however caused to your dog.

  • Guide dogs will be given access to all guest areas, including the breakfast room.

An Additional Fee will be levied if, after checkout, our housekeeping team has to do extraordinary cleaning to meet our cleanliness standards.

Dog Fees:
Between $ 7.50 and $15.00/dog/day.

However, depending the length of the stay & the number of dogs staying in the room,
we offer discounted rates.

Dog Fines:
Pet (Dog) in a “Pet-Free” room: there is a $ 150.00 fine.
